Vcds measuring blocks list diesel8/11/2023 Same fault appears again with the same fault code!! And again and again!! Cleared the fault and took for a test drive. The old one was identical to the new one so I'm sure I got the right p/n. Now I waited for the car to cool down and replaced the G83 sensor at the rad outlet. During all these trips the same combination of fault appeared for 5-7 times. at the dealership I grabber the replacement sensor (p/n 06a-919-501-a) and drove to work. I cleared the fault code and decided to visit my dealership. So it looks like it's the coolant temperature sensor at radiator outlet. I scanned the car and got "G83 - signal too high" fault code. The same ding/message/GP light appeared several more times during my trip to home. Since it was lunch time, I thought I'd drive straight home and grab my VCDS to have the car scanned. "Oh great, not the fun with #$%!! DPF begins.". Then the message was gone and the glow plug light also disappeared. While driving, during a regen, I've heard a 'ding', "Engine Fault: Workshop" appeared on the MFD and Glow Plug light flashed several times. So I've been fighting this nightmare for already several days.
